Current vintage | 2015 | Paso Robles

A vivid, utterly exceptional wine, the 2015 Miramis boasts intense aromatic depth and scrumptious layers of sculpted fruit, with no excess weight. This old-vine appellation wine hails from a trulyhidden gem of an AVA known as “Cienega Valley” aka “Lime Kiln Valley”, and pays homage to California’s rich viticultural heritage. 130-year-old Mourvedre dry-farmed on original rootstock at 902 feet elevation produces naturally low yields with profound fruit concentration. Aromas of raspberry sorbet, violets, cocoa, caramelized sugar and lavender give the 2015 much of its distinctive personality. The mouthfeel is a pure, focused melange of bright acid, gently chiseled tannins, and dusty limestone minerality.
